A WOMAN caught speeding six times in the space of a month escaped a ban from the roads because she works as a delivery driver.
Shelby Kelly, 46, of Churchill Road, Bicester, admitted all six charges at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on July 20.
She was first caught driving at 35mph on 30mph Buckingham Road in Bicester on June 24 last year and then caught speeding in the 30mph zone on Launton Road in Bicester five times between June 27 and July 7, travelling between 35 and 38mph.
Magistrates put three points on her licence but said they would not disqualify her because she “works as a delivery driver and would not be able to work or take her daughter to and from college in Oxford”.
In addition to the points, they fined her £72 and ordered her to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
