Oxford Police commander Supt Christian Bunt said: “There will be a large policing operation in place for the game between Oxford United and Millwall tonight.
"It is an important game which will attract a large crowd.
Tonight’s match is an all ticketed event and will be working with the club to make sure those fans attending have a safe and enjoyable evening.
"Thames Valley Police take a positive stance against crime and disorder at football matches and this fixture will be no different."
