Road closures planned for the A34
Motorists can expect severe disruption on the A34 from today as three nights of road closures come into effect.
Highways England will close five sections of the road northbound between 10pm and 6am at various stretches from today until Thursday morning.
The maintenance is for planned road marking works along the major trunk road.
The sections affected are: at the A4183 south of Kennington and the junction with the A423, the entry slip from the A423 north of Kennington, the A34 northbound between the A415 and the A4183 junction.
Other areas closed include the A34 northbound between the A4185 and the junction with the A44 and the northbound entry slip from the A4130.
