The latest court cases in Oxford Magistrates' Court:

STEPHEN BROOKER, 27, of Nightingale Crescent, Bracknell, pleaded guilty to drug driving in Oxford on September 21 last year as well as driving without a licence and driving without third party insurance. He was given a community order to complete 90 hours of unpaid work and was disqualified from driving for 26 months. He was fined £166. There were also court costs of £85.

ISAAC THOMPSON, 33, of Weirs Lane, Oxford, pleaded guilty to six counts of theft. On November 9 last year he stole a vacuum cleaner and a boxed Christmas tree to the value of £125 from Asda, on November 27 he stole a £69 vacuum cleaner from Asda, on November 29 he stole a saucepan set and a blender to the value of £90 from Asda, on December 10 he stole £116.50 worth of meat, laundry products and chocolate from Co-Op, on December 11 he stole a £65 vacuum cleaner from Asda, and on November 13 he stole another blender and Christmas trre to the value of £87 from Asda. He was ordered to pay £552 in compensation and was fined £120. There were no other orders for costs.

STUART CRAWFORD, 41, of Market End Way, Bicester, pleaded guilty to one count of criminal damage in High Wycombe after damaging both seats, door cards, glove compartment and a carpet on a vehicle to the value of £1,535 on May 1 last year. He was given a community order to complete 40 hours of unpaid work and pay £900 in compensation. There were no other orders for costs.

BARNEY SARGENT, 32, of Gordon Road, Upper Heyford, pleaded guilty to driving while disqualified in Bicester on January 17 this year as well as driving without third-party insurance. He was given a community order to complete 80 hours of unpaid work and was disqualified from driving for 12 months. There were court costs of £85.

MICHAEL CORCORAN, 37, of Walton Street, Oxford, pleaded guilty to possession of a Class B drug, namely cannabis, in Abingdon on April 4 this year. He was fined £50. There were no other orders for costs.

HAYDEN ESSERY, 32, of Walterbush Road, Chipping Norton,  pleaded guilty to drug driving in Abingdon on September 26 last year. He was disqualified from driving for 12 months and fined £486. There were court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £194.
