POLICE have released a video of them disposing of seized vehicles which were bogged down in fields.

Thames Valley Police's Rural Crime Taskforce seized three vehicles on March 25 this year from Blewbury, Didcot after becoming bogged down in fields. 

Officers state that the vehicles had 'caused significant criminal damage to cropped fields'.

It is unknown if the vehicles were abandoned in the fields or had been parked their illegally.

Writing about the seizure of the vehicles, the task force said: "The disposal of these vehicles shows our commitment to tackling crime in our rural communities."

The video released shows heavy machinery moving the cars before crushing them down into smaller pieces.

In the background, other crushed-down vehicles can be seen in the scrapyard.
