A man who stole a Range Rover and was caught just two hours later has now been jailed.

Tiago Sequeira stole a Range Rover without keys from a property in Lisa Head Avenue, Didcot on December 2, 2023.

He drove the vehicle to Cambridge where the car was located by police, only two hours after it was stolen.

Sequeira was arrested and he was in possession of a Stanley knife in his pocket and was also in possession of equipment used in keyless theft of motor vehicles.

He has been jailed for a year and nine months after pleading guilty to theft of a motor vehicle, driving without third party insurance and possession of an offensive weapon.

A spokesperson for Thames Valley Police said: “We are committed to fighting acquisitive crime, serving victims and making our communities safer.”
