DIDCOT got off to a flying start in the county’s Under 11 competition, beating Abingdon Vale by 76 runs in their opening match.
Sam Sweeney hit 25 not out in 11 balls and William Sharp scored 24 as Didcot set a total of 136-7 off their 20 overs.
Vale were restricted to 60-4 in reply.
In the under 13 competition, an unbeaten 32 from Mark Hazell saw hosts Combe reach 90-4 against Freeland.
In reply, Freeland were bowled out for 33.
