BLUE Boar have hailed the generosity of their hosts after returning from their four-day tour of Ireland.
The Longworth-based side, who play mainly friendlies, played Bandon RFC and Clonakilty while in County Cork.
Centre Oscar Matthews scored two tries in a 38-10 victory over Bandon.
Against Clonakilty, Boar led 19-5 at the break and after a second half comeback from the hosts, prop Pete Boulton went over to earn a 32-29 win.
Boar president Paul Dailey said: “We have been made so welcome by everyone we’ve met in the county both at the clubs and by locals too.”
Fly half and captain Giles Blanchard added: “They were two great fixtures played in the true spirit of the game.”
