OXFORDSHIRE Over 50s B began their County Championship campaign with a resounding ten-wicket win over Surrey at Bletchingdon.
The visitors won the toss and elected to bat, but struggled to score against a determined Oxon attack, managing only 123-8 from their 45 overs.
All six bowlers took wickets for the hosts, with Stuart Bullen (3-18) claiming three in one over.
Oxon started slowly in reply, but the runs began to flow after the first ten overs.
Nick Moorman (72no) and Russell Hayes (44no) guided the home side to victory with 14 overs to spare.
