HANNEY 2nd shocked Combe with a 31-run victory to reach the semi-finals of the Osberton Radiators Cup.
The match was reduced to 35 overs per side, and Hanney struggled on the wet pitch to post 120-9, thanks largely to Phillip Austin’s 61.
Steve Evans took 4-35 for Combe, who were then tumbled out for 89 as John Bedwell (3-18) and Jerry May (3-26) took centre stage for Hanney.
In the Steve Dixon Cup quarter-final, Oxenford 2nd ran out 96-run winners at Wolvercote 2nd.
Rafiullah Kakar hit 83 in Oxenford’s 168 all out, Nasser Khan taking 5-39 for the hosts.
Ralph Martin them claimed 5-41 for Oxenford as the home side were skittled out for 72.
